Blockchain Poker Login

A blockchain is a continually updating list of records. These records are lumped together in a series of blocks that are connected via encryption. Blockchains can be used to record anything, but they’re most commonly used to record transactions, which is what the Bitcoin blockchain does. Blockchain Poker was created in 2016 and it has been improving and adding new features relentlessly since then. Today it has a neat interface and aside from the ability to play right away, which makes it irresistible to try, they also have great reward programs in place. CoinPoker — is a cryptocurrency poker room running on its coin: CHP. The room was launched in early 2018. CoinPoker had the first blockchain-based RNG in the poker industry and it's based on smart contracts. That makes the poker site a true pioneer on the market. Right now Coin Poker is one of many small cryptopoker rooms with average traffic for its kind.

    What is blockchain.poker?

Blockchain Poker (blockchain.poker) is a poker website that facilitates online poker games denominated in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash BCH), two of the world's most popular cryptocurrencies.

    Overview:

Blockchain.poker provides a smooth online poker experience by utilizing the benefits of Bitcoin Cash, a fast, low fee cryptocurrency. Each poker chip represents 1 satoshi, or 0.00000001 (a hundred millionth) of one Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

    Pros:

    • Easy, instant cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals via Bitcoin Cash.
    • The lowest rake poker site you'll find anywhere, plus a generous rake-back schedule.
    • The cleanest, most intuitive user interface of any poker site I've played on.
    • Customizable games (host sets the blinds, time limits, table size, and can kick players if needed).
    • Blockchain.poker operates completely in your browser - no PC downloads are needed.
    • Blockchain.poker is pseudo-anonymous and doesn't collect any of your data. No email address is need to make an account, just a username and a password.

    Cons:

    • Only No Limit and Limit Texas Hold 'em (Cash games, Sit N Go's, and tournaments are available). No PLO or other games are available at this time.
    • Small player base.
    • Larger stakes games are uncommon. At any given time you can usually find a table running equivalent of 6 or 9 handed $50NL, but anything larger than that will be hit or miss.
    • HUDs are fairly non-existant (though many will view this as a good thing).

    Is blockchain.poker legal?

Blockchain.poker's legality depends on your geographic region and the applicable laws for that locations. Blockchain.poker's official statement in their terms of service is as follows:

'The Service is not for use by (i) individuals under 18 years of age, (ii) individuals under the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction and (iii) individuals accessing the Service from jurisdictions from which it is illegal to do so. Blockchain Poker is not able to verify the legality of the Service in each jurisdiction and it is the User's responsibility to ensure that their use of the Service is lawful.'

It is up to the user to determine whether or not blockchain.poker is legal in their jurisdiction.

If you are unsure about the laws in your geographic region, then you may be inclined to use a VPN service to connect to blockchain.poker through a different geographic region.

    Is blockchain.poker a scam?

Blockchain.poker is not a scam, and there is no reason to believe that blockchain.poker is any less fair or legitimate than any other online poker site. If anything, the extremely low rake makes it a more favorable experience than any other site. There are many accounts of people talking about their positive experiences on the site on Reddit.

Blockchain Poker uses OpenSSL's RAND_bytes to generate random numbers from a CSPRNG. Rejection sampling is used to avoid modulo bias while converting the bytes into integers needed for a Fisher-Yates shuffle, which is performed on the deck immediately before each street is dealt. This is a standard implementation across the vast majority of online poker sites.

    My Blockchain Account

Implementation of provably fair, decentralized desk shuffling is currently on the development roadmap for blockchain.poker.

Furthermore, anyone caught colluding or using multiple accounts will be banned and immediate forfeit all funds in their account.

    What's blockchain.poker's rake?

Blockchain Poker has very low rake rates and a generous rake-back policy. Below is the rake schedule for blockchain.poker:

    Does blockchain.poker have rake-back?

Yes, blockchain.poker has generous rake-back rewards. I was able to unlock 4% rake-back in just a few hours of playing 10k/20k which at the time of writing this is roughly the equivalent of $25NL. Blockchain Poker's rake-back goes all the way up to 50%, which is the equivalent of 1 entire BCH.

    My personal experience with blockchain.poker:

As someone who already owned some Bitcoin Cash, I was delighted at how I could deposit and withdraw my balance almost instantly with virtually no fees (less than 1 cent).

The player base is small, but growing, and new features and improvements are being added regularly. If there isn't a table running at my desired stakes, I have found that when I start the table myself it usually fills up with players within 10 to 20 minutes, regardless of what time or day of the week it is.

As someone who doesn't like downloading programs onto my desktop, I was pleased to be able to login from any device and play directly from my browser. The user interface is delightfully light-weight and uncrowded. As someone who has played poker on all the major poker websites, I was very impressed.

There are a few really nice features worth mentioning:

First, I'm a big fan of the action feed and the transparent rake that is posted in it. After each hand, the amount of rake taken off the table is shown in the feed on the left of the screen, along with the hand action, results, and any chat comments made by players.

You can easily multi-table by selecting a game in the lobby and it will automatically open it in a new tab. You can also easily take and store notes on players by clicking on their name at the table.

There's also a really nice misclick prevention feature where buttons are un-clickable for a fraction of a second after each action, making it very difficult to misclick. With over 15 hours of play on the site I have only had one single misclick that was inconsequential.

Lastly, as an avid cryptocurrency investor and casual poker player I like that my poker bankroll is exposed to the growth potential of Bitcoin Cash. Historically, Bitcoin and a few other top cryptocurrencies have been some of the highest returning investments of the last decade. If you bought $1000 worth of Bitcoin in 2016, it's now worth over $60,000, and growing fast.

While some may shy away from the short-term volatility of cryptocurrency, they have historically been a fantastic long-term investment.

Where to Get Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin:

If you're interested in playing poker on blockchain.poker, but don't currently own any Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash, there are a number of different places you can purchase some. Personally, I always recommend Gemini.com, as it is the most reputable, secure, and legally compliant cryptocurrency exchange.

Sign up is very straight-forward. Expect to submit a picture of yourself and a form of identification (driver's license, passport, etc.). This is a standard KYC (know-your-customer) process to comply with government anti-money-laundering laws.

Once registered, you can link your bank account to purchase Bitcoin Cash and other cryptocurrencies, or you can use other payments methods such as a credit or debit card.
